Sailing Club/ Centre Boat Maintenance

Marconi Sailing Club is a Local Sailing club in Essex that we have helped on multiple occasions in helping to maintain their club boats with ropes, block and fittings, boat covers, launching trolleys, new picos and VHF radios.

Here are a few examples of how we have helped.

A couple of years ago we helped replace all of the club boat single handed dinghy covers. This helped unifored all the club boats to look the same and ranged from Toppers to Laser and Pico. As the clubs colour is blue it made great sense to make all of these covers out of PVC Blue as the boats are stored outside all year round.

Shortly after the replacing the single handed covers we have since helped with there double handed boats this included replacing wayfarer covers for a pair of match blue polycotton covers.

When it comes to club boat spares we have a wide range of rope, block, and fittings. and tiller extensions. Due to the regular use of the club boats items do need replacing often. We sell rope by the the metre and as reels. 

The  reels are more cost-effective and having a rope in the bosons shed can help when you need it quickly. For example on the morning of a dinghy core a halyard breaking or being damaged.

Marconi Sailing Club like all sailing clubs need VHF Radios. These are important for communication and vital for safety.

We have not only supplied handheld we can also help with Rib radios also and helping with the upkeep of the Ribs where we can.
