If you're a rib driver, keelboat sailor or yacht sailor now is the time to listen up. The previous Zhik 800 Seaboot was extremely popular for each of these applications but Zhik wanted to push the boots to the next level. There is no better way to do this than send them on a lap of the globe in the Volvo Ocean Race, they provided the Dongfeng and Akzonobel crews with the boots to test and feedback on.

Our Favourite Bits

• The grip - every pair of Zhik boots has amazing grip, the 900 boot brings new technology to improve the grip further
• Water drainage - There are two layers to the boot, the part you put your foot into, then the outer gaiter. Put your salopettes in between them and the water runs into the boot but straight out again
• Completely dry feet - Your feet are snug, warm and dry inside this boot with no chance of water getting in
• Protection in all the right areas - additional thicker padding around the toe and heel
