The team at Sailing Chandlery have refreshed our video review of the Zhik 470 Sailing Boots sailing boots.
This high cut sailing boot has some excellent features and superb grip to keep you on the boat in wet conditions.
The lightest high cut supportive Zhik boot in the range designed for high intensity, high activity sailing. Popular with all foiling classes and trapeze sailors
The thinner materials used on this boot allow you to feel the boat dynamics much more 2mm neoprene and 1mm rubber. Due to the lightweight construction of the boot we would not recommend using for hiking
Superior Zhik fit is achieved by moulding the boot on Zhik’s unique ergonomic lasts. This gives you a firm + close fit with more comfort, and reduced chafe
Zhik 470 sailing boots are the new model of the Zhik 460 sailing boot which has been popular for years based on its light weight design and feel the boot provides within the boat, or on the wire.
The Zhik 470 sailing boot is made from 2mm neoprene making it really light and quick drying.
Zhik have added even more grip to their already fantastic sailing boot grip and have changed the fit for a more moulded grip onto your feet. This now provides more support with the lace system being on the outside of the boot. There is even a neat little hole within the strap to tuck the excess laces away while done up.

Excellent gloves, perhaps the best I have used. The fingers are long enough to provide protection from sheets/halyards and fit nicely so that ropes cannot get between the glove and finger. If the winter gloves are any guide they should also be very durable.
really happy with these! the thick material means that I will be warm whilst sailing, and the 3 finger coverage allows mobility and warmth on the water. the added grip will really help on the heavy wind reaches, can't wait to test them out this weekend. shipping was really quick, with a sweet included in my order thank you.

The footprint of these is much more than standard trolley wheels so they roll on sand much easier.
These Falker Burgees are essential for our training fleet, giving an instant indication of apparent wind direction.
Made of stainless steel they do not corrode, and are easy to fit into the mast bracket.
It is a shame the sail part is not available as a spare as this part does not last forever, unlike the ss frame.
