It's now a week since we returned from the RYA Dinghy Show and we're just about getting back to normal. It's a huge task for us to pick up our business and move it to Alexandra Palace for two days, but it really is worth it to see all of our customers there face to face. Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the show.
At the last minute we had a great opportunity to partner with our friends at Zhik and nearly double the size of our stand to a brilliant 101sqm.
It's safe to say the partnership worked well and we were proud to be showing off all of the new Zhik gear available at the time which included:
That was on top of all the other popular Zhik items including our wall of Superwarm which gets comments every year.
These were just some of the clothing highlights on the stand which also included sailing clothing options from Magic Marine.
Our rope offcuts were extremeley popular and soon on Saturday morning customers were trying to get a look in, 15 50L boxes soon went down to 3 boxes!
Selling lots of stock allowed us some room in the van to bring back a boat for two very happy and young customers, a brand new Laser Bug for them to play with in the warmer months.
Off the back of the show we've also picked up a number of other boat sales providing Lasers and Picos to customers across the UK. That's on top of all the sails we've been sending out including training, class compliant and class legal sails.
We hope you enjoyed the show as much as we did. Did you pick up a pair of our sunglasses? we only have a few pairs left now so watch out for some online competitions.
These Falker Burgees are essential for our training fleet, giving an instant indication of apparent wind direction.
Made of stainless steel they do not corrode, and are easy to fit into the mast bracket.
It is a shame the sail part is not available as a spare as this part does not last forever, unlike the ss frame.

Excellent fast service from this company. Very good price for the Parka & free shipping. As a Motorhome & dog owner I bought the Parka to use when these activities frequently get cold & wet! I haven't had cause to use it yet. I've tried it on & it's just what I needed. It's a good long length (I'm 5ft 8") & does away with the need for waterproof trousers. Very handy zipped pockets & I like the fact that you can tighten up the wrist cuffs. I'm very pleased with my purchase & would certainly recommend Sailing Chandlery. Thank you.

I had a difficult repair, with a part of the sail that har ripped off. I used the tape to cover a large darn, taped it on both sides, and oversewed it for additional security. Easy to use, decent adhesion, probably no need to oversew.
