Sponsorship - What you need to tell us

Since we started back in 2012 we have always offered sponsorships to both sailors and events.

For us, sponsorship is about creating a partnership, we are looking at what you can provide in return for the sponsorship we can offer.

This article will give you a few helpful tips about what to include when approaching us for event or sailor sponsorship.

If you follow these bulleted lists when sending us information it will really help us to make a decision and open further discussions with you.

Sailor Sponsorship

• What's your name?
• Tell us a little bit about yourself
• Why did you choose to approach Sailing Chandlery?
• What type of boat do you sail?
• Where do you sail from as a base?
• Do you have any other sponsors?
• What are your previous events and results?
• What events do you plan to attend over the next year?
• What can you provide in return for your sponsorship?

Event Sponsorship

• What is the event?
• Tell us about the event
• Where is it being held and when?
• Why did you choose to approach Sailing Chandlery?
• How many sailors do you expect to attend?
• Are there any other sponsors for the event?
• How do you plan to represent and promote the Sailing Chandlery brand for the event?
